Travel to São Paulo
Most citizens of Latin American origin will not need visas to travel to Brazil. However, Brazil does require visas of some foreign nationals. Please call your local Brazilian consulate to verify your status before traveling.
There are two airports in São Paulo.
Most international flights arrive in Guarulhos, which is roughly 1 hour away from the University of São Paulo by taxi. You can access the airport's website here.
A few flights arrive in the city airport, Congonhas, which is roughly 25 minutes by taxi from the University. You can access the airport's website here.
Both airports also have regular bus service to the city center, which will be less expensive than transportation by taxi. You can access the bus service's website here.
