ROOM & BOARD

Classes will be held in the School of Philosophy, Letters and Humanities, (FFLCH) and in the Institute of International Relations (IRI) on the campus of the University of São Paulo (USP).

The Summer School does not have the wherewithal to make housing arrangements for students.  However, we have put together a list offering some suggestions of reasonable boarding opportunities near the university. This list does not imply an endorsement by the Summer School, and students are recommended to take all possible care in booking their housing. There are many good options for housing in São Paulo, so we would encourage all students to look for options that are not very far from the USP campus.

HOTELS AND HOSTELS

The list below includes the following suggestions:

Ibis Styles Faria Lima - Rua Tavares Cabral, 61. This hotel is in a nice neighborhood with many restaurants and coffee shops.

Go Inn Jaguaré - Avenida Jaguaré, 1664. Many of our students have used this hotel, and it was among the most highly recommended on our student evaluation forms for its cost-benefit ratio and proximity to campus.

Vila Madalena Hostel - Rua Francisco Leitão, 686.

Residenza Mantovani - Rua Desembargador Eliseu Guilherme, 269.

Hosped@SP - Rua Abadia de Dourados, 211, C3.

Nahu Hostel - Rua Marinha de Moura Pimenta, 354. The hostel is also walking distance to USP and has been recommended by many students for its proximity and affordability.

Okupe Hostel (Jardins)Av Rebouças, 990. This hostel is located in the Jardins neighborhood and is in a good location for commuting to USP.

Or just access Okupe and choose the hostel of your preference consiring its location in the city. Other Hotel and Hostel options may be found at a file attached at the bottom of this page.
