Thiago Silva, Texas A&M University
Thiago is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Political Science at Texas A&M University. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the University of São Paulo. He is a research affiliate with the "Brazilian Legislative Studies" project at the Brazilian Center of Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP/São Paulo), and an associate researcher at "Project for Equity, Representation, and Governance" (PERG Research Center/Texas A&M University) and at "Coaliciones Políticas en América Latina: Análisis en Perspectiva Multinivel" (Multilevel Coalitions/University of Buenos Aires). Thiago's research interests include coalition governments, government formation, presidential systems, and executive decision-making processes. In the 2017 Summer School, Thiago will be a teaching fellow for the Advanced Issues in Quantitative Methods for Public Policy Analysis course offered in the 3rd module.
