Rebecca Morton, New York University

Rebecca Morton is a Professor of Politics at New York University, New York and New York University, Abu Dhabi.  Her research focuses on voting processes as well as experimental methods. She is the co-author of the recent Cambridge University Press published book, Experimental Political Science and the Study of Causality, and the author of Methods and Models:  A Guide to the Empirical Analysis of Formal Models in Political Science as well as the author or co-author of two other books on voting and elections and numerous journal articles, which have appeared in noted outlets such as the American Economic Review, American Journal of Political Science, American Political Science Review, Journal of Law and Economics, Journal of Politics, and Review of Economic Studies.  She is the co-editor of the new Journal of Experimental Political Science, the official journal of the Experimental Research Section of the American Political Science Association, which began publication in 2014. In the 2015 Summer School, Professor Morton is teaching a course on game theory and applications for political science.
