Patrick Cunha Silva, Center for Metropolitan Studies

Patrick Cunha Silva received a Master's degree by the Department of Political Science of the University of São Paulo and is a junior researcher at the Center for Metropolitan Studies (CEM). His main research interests lie in the areas of political  representation and electoral systems. His current research concerns the professionalization of municipal legislative chambers and the legislative  production of councillors. He has also researched the choice of electoral  systems by the Brazilian National Constituent Assembly of 1987-1988.  In 2015, Patrick will be a teaching fellow for all three modules of the Maximum Likelihood Estimation Track.
