Natalia is Ph.D candidate in the Department of Political Science at the University of São Paulo (USP). She holds two Master’s degrees in Political Science: one from USP and another from University of Bologna. Natalia holds an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Social Sciences from USP. She is currently the coordinator of the prevention program against forced labor at Reporter Brasil NGO. Formely, she has worked at Agency Carta Maior News and at Brazilian civil society organizations, such as the Brazil Human Rights Fund, Paulo Freire Institute and Conectas Human Rights. She took part as an intern in the Advocacy Section and in the Global Initiative to Fight Human Trafficking at the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crimes (UNODC) (2008) at Vienna UN Headquarters. Her fields of interest are political representation, public policy, human rights and labor issues.
