Lorena Barberia, Department of Political Science, University of São Paulo

Lorena G. Barberia is a faculty member at the Department of Political Science at the University of São Paulo. Her primary fields of interest are comparative politics, political economy, and political methodology. Her work is aimed at analyzing redistributive politics in Latin America. At USP, Professor Barberia teaches courses in quantitative methods, comparative politics, and political economy at the undergraduate and graduate level in the Department of Political Science. She has served as a member of the IPSA-USP Summer School Faculty Coordinating Committee since 2011 and assumed the Chair of the Summer School in 2015.   In the 2019 Summer School, she will be teaching the Time Series Cross Section modules with Andrew Q. Philips and Guy D. Whitten.
