Iñaki Sagarzazu, University of Glasgow

Iñaki Sagarzazu is a Lecturer in Comparative Politics in the Politics Department at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. Prior to joining the University of Glasgow, he served as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Center for Experimental Social Sciences at Nuffield College in the University of Oxford. Professor Sagarzazu’s research interests focus on comparative politics and quantitative methods including political communication, political dialogue, parties and party systems, legislatures, elections, and content analysis. His current research is focused in understanding what shapes political communications and what are its consequences.  He is also working on understanding the evolution of the Venezuelan party system pre and post collapse.  In the 2014 Summer School, Professor Sagarzazu is teaching a course on multi-level models.
